April TTRPG Challenge Day 20: Favorite Design Tools?

There’s pretty much no way to avoid the next couple of these to just be notebook porn, so let’s run with it.

In no particular order, you’re seeing a couple of ‘OH GOD I MUST WRITE THIS DOWN NOW’ books, a storyboarding Moleskine I haven’t got a use for yet, a couple of blank ones including a Lego moleskine, a grid papered Star Trek notebook for the Star Trek RPG, a Superman notebook that blog planning goes in and a bunch of Field Notes for everything from daily scheduling to audiobook project notation.

Amazingly I carry maybe two with me at a time. I’ve got this down to enough of a science now that I can keep stuff orderly and focused to that extent. Oh and I send myself emails when exciting ideas occur to me too which are usually short and have exclamation points. That way nothing slips through the cracks and I’m reminded of how excited Past Me was by the idea. And Past Me is pretty persuasive so that usually works.

Here’s my published work so far. If you want to talk to me about a project you’re hiring for, get in touch. Alternately, come say hi on Twitter and I’ll see you back here tomorrow.
