In addition, I keep ridiculously long email threads of ideas and note stuff down whenever something’s to hand. For example, there’s a really odd idea I’ve got for a single page RPG which currently exists only in an email to myself. I’m also teaching myself to back up off site. My computer is, well, let’s say it’s becoming somewhat ‘vintage’. So in an effort to keep everything accessible I back up to an external hard drive, and to a 1 TB Dropbox account and increasingly to Google Drive as well. Which is also good for collaborative work as we’re finding on After The War.
So basically I document everything and save it in as many places as possible. Works pretty well too.
