One of the very first pro jobs I did was a Doctor Who adventure called Arrowdown. I got to use it as an example of how to build adventures in a presentation at WorldCon in 2017, which was pretty cool.
What was maybe a touch cooler was that this adventure was short-listed for an ENnie in 2015! We didn’t win but I’m really proud of the fact that little adventure has gone so far. Especially as the kernel of it was sitting in a weird, three floor fish and chip shop/ballroomin Whitby and going ‘…so, this is a TARDIS then.’
That was a lot of fun to do, and, weirdly, more so when the BBC came back with ‘…Could it NOT be a TARDIS?’. The result edits were much more fun, made it a better adventure and taught me a lo about how to hit the mark the first time out. Or at least get closer. So yeah, pretty much every memory I have of Arrowdown and what it’s done is positive. Thanks, module!
Here’s my published work so far. If you want to talk to me about a project you’re hiring for, get in touch. Alternately, come say hi on Twitter and I’ll see you back here tomorrow.
