I took some time this week to review what I’ve written across the last twelve months, check the themes I’ve been working on, make sure I’ve not played Free Bird too many times, that sort of thing. While I’m not a fan of the annual eligibility post drive creeping every earlier, it’s a useful exercise. And in 2025, a surprising one. Because I found I’d spent a lot of the year questioning one of my core texts and finding it wanting.
