Only Murders in the Building stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez as Charles-Haden Savage, Oliver Putnam and Mabel Mora, residents of the Arconia building in New York. Charles is a ‘resting’ actor. Oliver is a ‘resting’ theatre director. Mabel is trying to work out what and who she is.
It’s hilarious. It’s tragic. People die. There’s a fantastic dog, a never ending parade of guest stars, and a very perceptive exploration of podcasting. All of which I have no doubt we’ll be talking about once the third season airs.
For now though, we’re going to talk about the show’s two best characters: Mabel Mora and Detective Williams.
