The unnamed, spare desert city High Grey traverses feels warm and busy, vital and distant, as C. Kinney’s art embodies the precision of High Grey himself and the joyously untidy world he’s above. George Joy‘s lettering too is fluent in Cat, expressing the complexity of thought that goes into a deceptively simple story. A story that, in author Rob Burton‘s excellent closing essay, we see for the complex piece of precision fiction it is.
