Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye is an extraordinary comic. It takes what, at its core, started out as a means of selling a toy line and turns it into an incredibly nuanced, compassionate, funny story about what happens when the war you’ve spent your life fighting stops. Following The Lost Light, a ship crewed by Autobots and Decepticons that (technically) is looking for the first generation to leave Cybertron, it’s like Waiting for Godot crossed with Hitch-Hiker’s Guide To The Galaxy and Catch-22.
With transforming gigantic robots.
It’s going to be a regular fixture here why and I can’t think of a better start than this. So, over to Rung, ship’s psychiatrist for this week’s Sunday Moment of Zen (Which you can click to embiggen).
