Fitness Week 12: 90 Seconds and Counting

Anyway! What did I get up to this week?

Superhero Workout NONE! NONE YOU HEAR ME, HAHAHAAAAAAAA!

DDP Yoga-Also none here

So why the sudden drop off? Well, Monday I went in for a dental procedure which involved being sedated. Turns out I am both very chatty when sedated and completely incapable of doing anything for the day or so after. So basically my week was two days long before the Easter break. hence the lack of sessions here.

Zombies Run Couch to 5k 5 intervals of 65 seconds, one interval of 90 seconds. One additional interval of 60 seconds.

Hell.

YES.

Like Baymax I am not fast. But I don’t need to be. This is about building up cardiovascular health and stamina and both of those are going really, really well.

The one downside, if there is one, is that my rest intervals are getting very short. Like 20 seconds short. Part of me wants very badly to just burn through them and see if I can hit 5 minutes now. My worry is that not only will I fail but that will dent my confidence which is still a week by week thing. So, for now, it’s 20 second rests and then 15 seconds and so on. If I have to, I’ll switch the intervals around so I’m running for 2 minutes, walking for 30 seconds or something like that.

Either way it’s a great problem to have. Even the Body Image Goblin said so. I’ll see you, and him, back here next week.
