A side story to the BSFA award winning The Dex Legacy, Wasteland explores the horrors of absolute action from multiple viewpoints. Twelve years into a stalemate war with the island nation of Rone, the Xenosi government allow munitions company Dex Industries to step in. They flatten the island in a single, catastrophic attack. As political outrage explodes across the world, General Azrite Zerakin (Sarah Golding) sends an experimental team of mech pilots into Rone to help with the relief effort and to try and de-escalate the situation.
